How did a simple frustration with textbooks grow into a Chinese reading hub? Like many of our readers, you may have tried memorizing vocabulary lists, drilling grammar patterns, and testing yourselves with flashcards. And yet, when you open a real Chinese article, you feel lost.
We’ve observed that the best progress our students ever made came from reading — from stories that kept them turning pages, from news that made them feel connected to the world. But finding materials that were both engaging and at the right level was nearly impossible.
So we built what we wished existed — IReadChinese, a graded Chinese reading platform that combines daily news, original stories, and smart learning tools.
